War Canoe Race
On Saturday, Red Arrow traveled to Camp Osoha for the annual war canoe race. This year’s race proved to be especially exciting: with Red Arrow’s canoe slightly ahead of Osoha’s two-thirds into the race, the two canoes veered into each other and collided. (The boys maintain that the girls steered into them.) Two of the boys’ paddles broke during the race. In the end, the canoes stayed afloat after the collision and Red Arrow won by the length of the bow. What a race!
