MIGHTY MEN of E-den
The Mighty Men of E-den embarked on an trial expedition to develop a new trip for R.A.C.’s tripping program.The trip started by exploring Nixon Lake. Although the campsite on Nixon was great, the lake was covered with reeds and lilypads, which made paddling tough, but the boys pushed hard and were able to follow the creek to the nights campsite. Once at our campsite, on Fishtrap Lake, the rain started dumping…but, that did not affect the boys spirits. Day #2 started with a little rain but the sun came out as we journeyed onto Boulder Lake. For our trip dinner on that evening we experimented with ‘Trail Pizza’ which turned out AMAZING !!! That night we played some ‘Watermelon Rugby’ in the lake and enjoyed a little R & R. Our final day consisted of a short 4 hour paddle down the Manitowish River to Island Lake, which was our pick up spot.
All in all, we had a great trip and have some great memories to boot !!!!
