Horse of the Year
All Riding Campers (and Riding staff) voted for the Horse of the Year and Rookie Horse of the Year (new to RAC this season). There was a tie for Rookie of the Year between Roany and Little Driggs. Both Rookies are 4 year registered AQHA geldings and this is their first year at Red Arrow. Our Palomino, Little Driggs is a full brother to Driggs who is a 7 year registered AQHA gelding, and is at RAC for his 3rd year. Driggs was the overwhelming vote-getter for ” Most Valuable Horse”. Both Little Driggs and Driggs were foaled in Driggs, Idaho. Driggs came to RAC 3 years ago and his little brother came to Wisconsin last Fall. Roany was foaled on a ranch in Western South Dakota and came to Wisconsin over the Summer. All three are great horses and were solid horses for classes throughout the day. Our grand winner, Driggs, was presented his ribbon by our Gold Medal Olympic Rider, Javier Vazquez.
All our winners were awarded a day off and an extra scoop of grain for their accomplishments.
